BILL OF MATERIAL SPECIALIST/COORDINATOR/INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER #108381
Denham Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Bill of Material Specialist/Technician who is responsible for creating, modifying and maintaining Product Codes and Bills of Materials for our client’s products, converting data received into their ERP system that informs the Manufacturing and Assembly teams what to fabricate and how to assemble the product. Our client is a well-established, highly successful manufacturer who has a great, collaborative company culture.
SALARY: $50k - $55k+ DOE, plus Excellent Benefit Package
-Creation of BOMs for individual parts, sub-assemblies and finished products
-Interpret product and assembly drawings in order to make accurate BOMs
-Modify/update existing BOMs to meet the needs of new specific requirements
-Work collaboratively with Operations and Marketing departments
-Prepare Codes and BOMs for products based on data received interdepartmentally
-Actively engages in cross functional communication to ensure accuracy, timely creation and maintenance of BOMs and routings
-Maintain BOMs, Codes and cost process within ERP system
-Review new Codes and BOMs to ensure they are complete and accurate prior to releasing them
-Knowledge and understanding of the concept of Bills of Materials and how they are built
-Must have a minimum of 1-2 years proven work experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, quality control industry
-High School Diploma required, college level Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams
-Strong computer proficiency, knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel required
-Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication ability
-Engineering document and drawing management software proficiency a plus
