SUMMARY

Denham Resources has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team of our client, a well- established, highly successful manufacturing company to ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.    

 

DESCRIPTION

-Establishment and continual improvement of the QMS processes

-ISO 9001/TS16949 internal/external audit planning and management providing focus, direction, and control for the QMS audits

-Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products

-Ensure that all staff are inducted into the requirements of the QMS and ISO/TS related to their own roles and responsibilities. Provide updated training as necessary.

-Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made.

-Monitor quality objectives and report to top management on the performance of the QMS (i.e. results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvements

-Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices

-Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product/service quality

-Confers with Engineering and Production departments regarding product quality assurance

-Supports and implements Lean Manufacturing concepts

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

-4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quality is preferred; and/ or minimum 5-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

-Must have strong analytical, mathematical, problem solving and ability to interpret technical data skills

-Ability to receive and maintain ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification

-Regular travel required to other company locations and facilities

-Excellent communication and organizational skills

-Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word required)
