This position is full time, hourly and non-exempt. Monday through Friday, although overtime may be necessary at times.
The Robot Technician is responsible for beginning to intermediate programming of welding and other robots at Transfer Flow. The Robot Technician is responsible for producing product that conforms to the mechanical drawings in accordance with Transfer Flow's Standardized Safe Operating Procedures (SSOP). This position reports to the Welding Supervisor, and will work interactively with members of the Engineering staff also.
Essential Job Functions
The normal workday begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position. The job demands a regular and reliable level of attendance with the possibility of overtime work.

The Robot Technician must be able to:
a. Program Fanuc controllers
b. Understand coordinate system
c. Understand Short Circuit, Spray, and Digital Pulsed Spray MIG welding
d. Work in a production environment and meet deadlines
e. Be able to MIG and TIG weld
f. Work safely at all times, including the programming process

Applicants must be able to successfully pass the following:
Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
Pre-employment Criminal history background check
Pre-employment fitness for duty physical
Must have two year's experience programming welding robots in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems
Experience with Fanuc automation and Lincoln welding power supplies is preferred
Experience with sheet metal welding is preferred
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, weld symbols
Employment at Transfer Flow Inc.
